Sacred Longing in D Minor

 

Most of my work focuses on the singular… Whether it be landscape or figurative based. . The art is always related to my experiences in the world and the way in which I perceive those experiences, “my oneness”

The idea for”Sacred Longing” came about while listening to a playlist that included Adele’s “One & Only”, “Someone Like You”,  Etta James “At Last” and “I’d Rather Go Blind” and Taylor Swift “Exile”.  Those songs all started me thinking about “longing” … most specifically, as human-beings,  longing for love and for connection. This artwork was born from those thoughts and those beautiful pieces of music.
